Weekend Away Meditation Retreats in the Los Altos Hills

nun_sweeping1) Living Lightly: Training in Wisdom ~ Meditation Retreat led by Gen Chöma

Friday, February 17  - Monday, February 20

During this three-day weekend retreat in the serene and beautiful environment of the Los Altos Hills, we will explore the liberating meditation on emptiness.

Emptiness is the word used by Buddha to describe the ultimate nature of reality. It does not mean nothingness, but rather an experience of freedom from limitation that allows us to let go of our painful ways of relating to ourselves and to the world. It is a source of joy, creativity and healing that we can all tap into at any time.

Through meditating on emptiness, we can quickly become the person we wish to be, and we open ourselves up to our potential for complete liberation and enlightenment. During this retreat, Gen Chöma will guide us through meditations on integrating this joyful meditation into our own daily practice.

The retreat schedule will allow lots of time for quiet relaxation and community, enjoying delicious meals, and exploring the beautiful countryside in the Los Altos Hills.
